Welcome to the Wild Pennsylvania Institute!

The Wild Pennsylvania Institute is a conservation think-tank and clearinghouse with an emphasis on science-based conservation planning. The Wild Pennsylvania Institute fills a critical need within the Pennsylvania conservation community - notably the creation, refinement, and introduction of a large-scale conservation network proposal. The Institute develops and promotes the ideas and strategies for big-scale conservation in our state and the Middle Atlantic Region, acting as a catalyst and facilitator for wildlands network implementation. The Institute offers a clear-headed, scientifically credible, practically achievable and hopeful vision for the future of wild Nature and the human community in our state and region without compromising sustainable economic integrity.
